About the job

For its German office in Berlin, Prospex is looking for Consultants from junior to senior level to contribute to its work in a series of projects for top level European and German organisations, institutions and corporations. We work in various fields and areas: from food safety and energy to health, water and many more. The focus of the position is stakeholder engagement, strategy/foresight & moderation/facilitation. The tasks include contributing to the design, preparation, accompanying research & analysis and facilitation of stakeholder engagement and strategic foresight processes in various, also digital formats.  We are looking for colleagues with ability to work on complex issues and with passion for dialogue, co-creative processes and future thinking.

The tasks

• Engage diverse stakeholders (from government, business, research to civil society and citizens) in Europe and beyond
• Design participatory processes, apply foresight process and develop strategies, development of action plans, Prepare and organize stakeholder engagement activities
• Facilitate / Moderate engagement processes or support these, including multi-stakeholder, analog, digital and hybrid ones
• Identify stakeholder groups & perform stakeholder mapping; Contribute to alliance building, networking
• Coordinate, co-lead, plan, organize and implement projects and processes, prepare deliverables, in cooperation with other consultants and contributors
• Contribute to offers, tenders, opportunity identification, documentation and marketing
• Perform research, analysis & assessment on a variety of topics, draft and review reports, documentation, articles, papers, publications in excellent English and, as applicable, German and other languages
• Basis for the work: Berlin, Germany; travel within Germany, European and occasionally outside Europe (between 1 day and several days per month)

About you

• Holding an adequate academic qualification (minimum: Master’s degree) in a relevant field
• Interested in dialogue processes, stakeholder engagement and foresight/strategy,, also in advanced and complex content fields
• As applicable: Experience /Expertise /Knowledge/Skills in the area of stakeholder dialogue, participatory, co-creative processes, facilitation & moderation, strategy development & foresight
• From 3 years (minimum) to more than 10 years of professional experience
• Aptitude to implement short to longer term projects covering a variety of topics
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong skills for analysis, writing and content development in diverse electronic and other forms
• Experience in handling analog & digital tools for participatory formats
• Proficiency in offer writing
• A team player and able to work independently
• Professional, open-minded and pro-active, respectful and customer-friendly attitude
• Languages: an excellent native or near native command of English; an excellent command of German and/or other languages an important asset
• Familiar with the context and environment in Berlin / Germany
